Strengthening Medicare

Medicare is a uniquely Canadian program. Its goal is to provide Canadians of all backgrounds and incomes with high-quality health care when they require it, without the fear of being personally bankrupt by astronomical health care fees.

RNAO has worked tirelessly over the years to ensure that the principles of the Canadian Health Act are respected, and see that any legislation that threatens any Canadian's access to needed care never becomes law.
